2.0 Ethics
2.0.1 With the epistemology explained above, this section of essays will move on to focus on ethics. Ethics, then, will be approached from the standpoint of objective, observable facts. In this way, it operates much like a science. Ethical principles are judged by their consequences to human happiness and well-being.
2.0.2 It is in this section that general ethical and epistemological principles will be applied to various issues. As discussed in the introduction, some of these applications will get more specific than general humanism and I expect a sizable opposition to many of my points both from within and from outside of the humanist community.
